Baptism Flop

The cake is cinnimon swirl with cream cheese frosting (it was served for breakfast). The words read "God Bless John Paul" & "4-2-06" at the bottom. This was my son's baptism cake... that's why there are shells on either side... not my favorite decorating job. This date marked the 1 year anniversary of JP2's death.

Sonogram

Shhhhh... I insisted on making my own baby shower cake...sad I know. The picture was a transparency I printed from the computer... it's not edible but the ones that are taste nasty. The clothes pins are plastic. The border is supposed to be buttons... my first attempt at "fondant". Not a big fan of it. I prefer icing.

The inside was white cake colored blue.

Chocolate Birthday

Yummmm! Chocolate cake with chocolate icing and mini chocolate chips! Soooooo delicious!

Silver Anniversary

The cake topper was from their original wedding cake. The silver beads aren't edible, but the silver shimmering glitter is.

Simple Pooh Birthday

I finally balanced my oven! This was half chocolate/ half white cake. Some of the others were too but I can't remember which ones (it's a popular request). There are "Pooh" decorative candies on the front. BIG font for the words! And the "stars" for sticking the candles in dried up before I could insert them...live and learn!

NASCAR Birthday

REALLY lop-sided. The race tires are Oreos with icing. Man, God-Bless my family for being so patient :)
