Luau Cake #1

My sister-in-law went to Hawaii for her Birthday so she had a Luau Birthday party before she left. The palm trees are plastic ornaments. The outside is goldfish crackers (with little white bubbles) and the "dirt" on Hawaii is brown sugar over brown icing. The flowers have tiny yellow non pareils for pollen. The ocean is white icing with blue spray on color.

This cake was made for my mother-in-law. It's sort of a combination idea of 2 previous cakes (12/19/05 & 7/9/06)

Double Birthday

Double Birthday Cake for my mom and friend. This was my first attempt at roses. They are bigger than I intended. The upper half has yellow dots as apposed to the pink dotted lower half.
