Simple Gluten Free Cupcakes

No.  This is NOT what they should look like.  This was after my 2 year old got ahold of them while I was trying to take care of the birthday girl who suddenly came down ill :(

So we celebrated a week later instead.  And I switched from purple to pink:

Tangled Cake & Party

For my daughter's 5th birthday we had a tangled party!  The yellow border is the "hair"' and it's attached to the back of the doll.
The long braid on the wall is made of yellow plastic party table cloths, with fake flowers stuck inside the braids. (it's still hangs in her bedroom today)

The plates are shaped like frying pans with black paper handles stapled to them (made from extra plates)  Yellow hair candy (lemon licorice).  I did NOT make the cupcakes.  They were left over from my sister-in-law's wedding and I just added yellow sprinkles.  The Sun rice treats were for the wheat intolerant.

My mom made this wig out of yellow yarn and a headband complete with more fake flowers.

The party guests got a little wig too (from the dollar store...it was easy to find since it's almost halloween)

My favorite game:  Pin the nose on Flynn Rider

My oldest set up a beauty salon and painted all the girls' nails.

Birthday Cupcakes for My Monkey

My 2 year old IS a monkey!
The topper is just printed on paper and taped to a toothpick.  And of course the bananas are from a box of Runts (which are NOT easy to find anymore)
