Rose Tea Cakes

I made these little rose tea cakes for my daughter's Little Flower's Tea. The symbol for their group is a rose (which represents their patron Saint Therese "The Little Flower"). The cake is colored pink but tastes like white. They are coated with a yummy donut like glaze. I was given a special pan of rose cakes one Christmas and this was the first opportunity I had to use it. I love how the doilies give them an elegant touch.

Music Birthday

I surprised another friend with a personal size birthday cake. She is a talented flute player so I did a musical theme. Oh, and some crazy cupcakes for the rest of us!
